Singapore Buses - 2015

A few bus photos from around Singapore during Christmas 2015.

There are two main operators who run public transport in Singapore.  SBS Transit is the largest and SMRT is the other operator.  The common sight of double deck buses is always enjoyable considering they are very uncommon in Australia.

SBS 5036 - Scania K230UB with a Gemiland body.  Built in 2010.

SBS 6039 - Mercedes-Benz OF1413 with an EvoBus body.  Built in 2011-2012.

SBS 7312 - Volvo B9TL with a ComfortDeGro Engineering body.  Built 2006.

SBS 7507 - Volvo B9TL with a Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 body.  Built 2010-2011 (Batch 1)

SBS 8562 - The first of the Scania K230UB Euro 5 with Gemiland body.  Build 2009.

SBS 9478 - A bit of a dinosaur, Volvo Olympian with an Alexander Royale body.  Built 1996-1998 (Batch 2).  These are likely to be retired within the next year or so.  Note the old style display panel.

SBS 9601 - Fleet leader, Volvo Olympian with an Alexander Royale body.  Built 1999 (Batch 3)

SBS 9649 - Same as above.

SBS 9671 - Fleet leader, Dennis Trident with a Duple Metsec DM5000 body.  Built in 2001.

SMB 58 - From the first batch of SMRT buses, Mercedes-Benz OC500LE with a Gemiland body.  Built 2008-2009.  This bus is in the original SMRT livery.

SMB 227 - A MAN NL323F with a MAN Lion's City Hybrid body.  Built in 2012-2013 (Batch 1).  I love the roof lines on these MAN buses.

SMB 1411 - A MAN NL323F with a MAN Lion's City Hybrid body.  Built in 2013-2014 (Batch 2).  I love the roof lines on these MAN buses.  This bus is in the new SMRT livery - very nice!

SMB 1418 - Same as above.

SMB 1482 at the bus stop.  It is a MAN NL323F with a MAN Lion's City Hybrid body.  Built in 2014-2015 (Batch 3).

SMB 3590 - Alexander Dennis Enviro500 with an Enviro500 MMC body.  Built in 2014-2015.

SMB 5073 - Same as above.

TIB 1088 - Carrying a TIB rego (pre-SMRT days), is a Mercendes-Benz O405G with a Hispano Habit bendi-bus body.  Built in 2000-2001.

TIB 1040 - Same as above.

TIB 1041 - Same as above.
