It is random gems like these, in among the monotonous Toll, Linfox and Rand containers, that keep me heading trackside, hoping for something unique, shiny or new.
This UPAC 00026 container looks to be a repaint complete with advertising. Certainly stands out being red! Note the roof looks to be formerly grey or white.
Enjoy!
Hi Chris,
ReplyDeleteNice find! What train was it on?
I've noticed a lot of 20" and 40" open top containers with tarps heading from Sydney to Brisbane. The 20"s are marked "EPE - Enivronmental Protection Equipment" and they often make up alot of the train.
Here are some of my videos as examples:5BS6 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rEuf2hGimBU and 7SB1- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfQ5bVOgZuQ

G'day Sam,
ReplyDeleteThe UPAC was on Saturday's PS6.
Nice videos. I saw some of the loading off PS6 which you videoed on 13/6.
I'm not sure about the open top containers but I suspect they are loaded and unloaded by crane, hence the open top. They may be loaded with large booms or barriers which are being used for a project.
Cheers
Hi Chris,
ReplyDeleteCheers thats quite a possibility. Always enjoy your posts.

ReplyDeleteHi Chris,
ReplyDeleteI saw a You Pack Remvoals Starlight Container today on 5BS6 (I think it was in the loading for Perth) so I looked it up on Google and found:
You Pack Removals - Starlight Foundation
Here is the video of 5BS6 as well!
