A few sightings from Monday 27th in QLD.

I headed out west to get some coal trains, but didn’t want to venture too far, so stayed under wires – probably would have been better further out west. Anyway, here are the sightings:

0920 – Redbank - DN LE x 5 (mix of 2300 and 2400*)
0930 – Redbank – DN COAL – 2335/2333*
0940 – Gailes – UP Ballast – 2410/2473*
0950 – Gailes – UP Coal – 2381/2346
1000 – Gailes – UP Coal – QHBH 55686 and QHBH 55687 on the Highway to NSW.
1025 – Gailes – UP Coal – 2366/2348
1035 – Gailes – UP Coal – 2306*/2330
1055 – Gailes – DN Coal 2357/2391
1110 – Gailes – UP Coal 2302/2361
1140 – Gailes – DN Coal 2301*/2311

The camera settings were all wrong when I pulled over in a hurry to get this shot (and the one below). The was the plough on the rear of the ballast train.
