A PN coal train headed by 2 x 82s and probably 54 100t hoppers comes through the loading bin at Stratford. To the right is the unloading shed - both are on the same balloon loop.
Enjoy
HI THERE,I AM ALEX, A RAILFAN,
ReplyDeleteWOULD LIKE TO ASK YOU COULD YOU POST SOME PQYY well wagons?
regards,
Alex.
Why does Stratford have both a loading bin and an uploading shed? I figure you would have one or the other, not both!
ReplyDeleteG'day Marcus,
ReplyDeleteStratford would make a cool model - Both loaded and empty trains arriving and departing.
Stratford was built in 1995? as a coal loader, which loaded coal for export at Newcastle. Onsite, they wash and screen the coal for the export market. In 2002 the same company opened Duralie as a mine, but they did not have the wash and screen facilities, so they send it to Stratford to be processed, before it gets sent for export.
Cheers
Chris
